GREEN FIRE was formulated for use in areas subject to extremely cold temperatures. It can melt ice in temperatures below OF. Dyed green, granules are easy to see on glaring ice. This is to ensure you do not over- apply and waste GREEN FIRE pellets. While using a mechanical spreader will cover surfaces more evenly, GREEN FIRE is non-toxic and can be tossed onto the ground with bare hands.

GREEN FIRE will not chip concrete or asphalt that’s at least one year old. Once melted, the remaining run-oft will not harm surrounding plant-life and soil. Each individual granule is now coated with melting enhancer. Unlike salt and pepper ice melters, (on granule of this and one granule of that), each granule of GREEN FIRE works individually for maximum performance.

GREEN FIRE works quicker than ordinary ice melters, and is effective in temperatures all the way down to a maximum freezing point of -6 degrees fahrenheit (-21 degrees celcius). GREEN FIRE is very safe. It is less toxic than baking soda.
